Planet zoo blueprint group objects11/11/2023 ![]() A few times Ive forgotten to make sure all the blueprint pieces were all part of the same blueprint. I have featured this blueprint in a YouTube video. This waterfall fits in with any zoo with lots of foliage. First, locate the animal, click on them to bring up their summary, and look for a Send animal to. Select the multi-tool selector tool and click on each item you want in the group and make sure to select the Merge Scenery Objects button in the selected objects window. A custom water fall to make you habitats and or landscape look amazing. ![]() Of course, it may be that the creator did not do the shorter panel trick and it is just a bug on the OP's and others computers? Probably have to check with the habitat creator. Now, look for this icon: Selling and trading animals in Planet Zoo is a two-step process. Not sure why it does that on some people's computers while others can download and use that particular blueprint. I suspect that when someone downloads one of those habitats, it is not carrying over the longer post- the bottoms of the post look equal- but it will not let you place it because the panel is too short. (it looks/ fits better into construction piece ?) If you do this to your own blueprint and then place it in one of your own zoos, you will see the outline of the lower barrier where the shorter panel is. So, people make shorter panels by sinking the bottom post. ![]() Since the game calculates the distance between the panels from the bottom of the posts, it will calculate it on the diagonal. Share the link to the workshop blueprint in a reply, someone here might be able to help you. Unless there is some kind of mod that lets people place shorter barriers, it seems wierd that whomever created the blueprint was able to place the barrier but now it gives you an error when you try to place the blueprint. If you have already built it, if you have multiple groups of gridded pieces, you cannot group them together after the fact, other than saving as a blueprint, if it is one group of gridded and one group of scenery non-gridded, you can use the ‘select all’ option from the bottom right corner, drag to select all and then select the option on the menu which allows to group objects (think it’s a tree with a plus sign).Originally posted by Jaggid Edje:Panel too short is a message you get when trying to place a habitat barrier that isn't long enough. If you are building around a staff facility, you need to select the facility building and then select to edit (pen symbol on menu), this will then allow you to build around it and it will all be in the same group and will all line up together as the grid pieces will be on the grid from the facility building. if anyone has an idea for that one I'd also be grateful) Here's a screenshot to demonstrate what I mean: (it also shows another problem that I am having, namely the walls on the two levels not lining up properly on one wall, even though its fine on the other sides. Do I really need to build the entire thing again to have it as a group? In this step-by-step tutorial for planet zoo i will show you everything you need to know about steam worskhop blueprints. All my Planet Zoo speed build videos. But I cannot for the life of me find out how to fix this, there seems to be no options to merge groups and even saving it as a blueprint and placing it down fresh doesnt help. Now for some reason, every single facility and every single wall piece got placed in its own group (I seem to remember that grid items used to be grouped automatically, is that no longer the case?), which is a little bit annoying as you can imagine. ![]() I did a little section with different staff facilities and all, I used the "bare" buildings and added some of the walls from the architecture menu to cover them up so far. Hi all, I recently got back into the game and I'm trying my hand and building right now.
